She is so nice and friendly which I really appreciated as I am a bit shy. I did a trial as well which was so helpful and made me feel a lot better as I was very indecisive about what I wanted but she didn’t pressure me at all. I was then able to make a few changes where I wanted. And as for the quality my makeup and hair was flawless and I had never felt more beautiful in my life. I was absolutely blessed to have Alana as my hair and makeup artist for my wedding, she was so accommodating and worked with my maid of honour, my mum and my three grandmothers (flower ladies) too all the way out in Apiti.
She only added to the perfect morning I had of chilling around in sweats with zero stress and when it was my turn to sit in the chair I got to leave feeling truly like a bride.
I can't recommend her enough, she's been amazing right from when I first contacted her to our wedding day.

Alana is amazing. She did the hair for my wedding which included myself, two mums and three bridesmaids. I initially was only going to have two bridesmaids and she had no problem adding another on when I decided to have three.
She definitely helped bring the vibe on the day, is very easy to talk to and she did a great job with everyone’s hair.

Alana and Serena made my wedding morning a fun and relaxed time! No mean feat when they had the task of wrangling myself, my 7 bridesmaids and mother of the bride! None of us are huge make up wearers and they listened to what we were wanting and took it step by step, leaving us all feeling absolutely incredible! This was especially important for me as I had an allergic reaction during a previous bridal trial with another artist. Alana was really intentional about what products we used and knew exactly what to do. She’s a professional artist who also really quickly gets to know you and what’s important to you. I would highly recommend Alana, and would love to have her do my face again. I was really lucky to have Alana do mine and my bridesmaid's hair for my wedding back in May this year while she was working for Dollhouse 'Do, and she was just incredible to work with.
Alana was available at relatively short notice for a trial, and she was a dream to work with. She was so bubbly and fun, and really put myself and my girls at ease as we were getting ready on the day. She really listened to what I wanted to achieve with my hair on the day, and nailed it. My girls and I all noted we had never felt more beautiful, and truly looking back at photos, I think she's a magician with what she said for all of us.

From the very first engagement I felt like I was in safe, creative, inspired hands. And that feeling only grew the closer it got to the day.
Alana is the master of asking the right questions to really understand her clients and then bringing a vision to life in a collaborative way. Talking through her approach and suggestions, in a way that you feel entirely comfortable if you wanted to try something different (which I did, she nailed it!)
Having a small wedding it was incredible to find someone who was able to do the hair and makeup - and do both to the highest standard!
I had a lot of skin insecurities for my wedding day and I honestly didn't even think about my skin once! Every time I looked in the mirror I only felt like a million dollars and the photos are incredible. The look kept for the entire day too.
Will be looking for any excuse to use Alana's services I can in the future too.
