To ensure Alana can offer the best services in her business she has created this list of terms and conditions as guidelines for her clients to understand when booking appointments.


  •   When using website bookings client must book appointments at least 1 week in advance of the booking time. If you are needing urgent attention contact Alana directly via email [alanajames@alanamuha.com] or through Instagram or Facebook platforms [@alana__muha].

  •   Client is to be able to pay all costs related to the service at the time of booking.

  •   If in the unlikely event that Alana cannot attend the scheduled booking due to emergency reasons or illness she will do her best to provide you with an alternative trusted artist. Otherwise you will receive a full refund of the initial payment made for that booking.

Booking Processes + Deposits

  • After Client has made a booking through this website, Alana will send out a booking confirmation form to clarify the individual quote for the services her client is after.

  • After the service has been fully confirmed  an invoice would be sent out for the full amount due for the service. Client can choose to pay in full or to make an initial 20% deposit prior to appointment following the full amount post service.

  • Deposit will become part of the final costs of the event all together.

  • Full payment will be required no later than 2 weeks post service. Reminders will be sent out within that time. Failure to pay the full amount will result in a penalty fee.


Pricing's + Payments

Prices are based on:

  •   Kit worth 

  •   Preparation/admin time

  •   Alana’s skill level/experience

  •   Service length

  •   Additional expense for travel. This will be determined once an understanding of travel distance is obtained. 

  • Additional service options will be highlighted for you in the booking confirmation letter that will be sent out to you. These may include false lashes, brow shaping and/or tinting, basic manicure.


Changes to a booking

  •  Reasonable effort will be made to meet any rescheduling of appointments up to 48 hours before the appointed time.

  • If  Alana for whatever reason can not make the rescheduled time prior to the 48 hours a full refund of any payments will be made to the client and will offer help with seeking other trusted artists in the area.

  • If the booking change is within 48 hours the refund will not apply.


Cancellation Policy

  • A cancellation must be advised 48 hours or more prior to the scheduled booking time. If client meets this time frame they will receive a full refund of any payments prior to service however if the client fails to meet the 48 hours any prior payments will not be refunded.

  • ‘No Shows’ including vouchers and prepaid appointments will not receive any refund for any prior payments and vouchers will become redundant.


Group Bookings

  •  A group booking of 4 or more people will receive a 10% discount off the full cost.

  •  If individuals from the party were to cancel 48 hours or more prior to the booking time their expense will be deducted from the total cost. 

  •  If the cancellation or a ‘No Show’ of a party member is to occur within 48 hours the client will be liable to pay the full cost of the booking.

  •  All other Terms and conditions apply the same to group bookings. 


Privacy and Confidentiality 

  • As a professional makeup artist ofter Alana will need to obtain personal client information including name, address, phone number, email address etc. This information is to be used solely by Alana regarding the booking and only this. 

  • In the case that Alana may want to use any images or videos created from the booking she will only do so with full written permission from the client. These could include being used for her website, instagram and/or facebook page.


Rights Reserved

  • Alana MUHA reserves the right to cancel any bookings that breach any of these terms and conditions. Email or text notifications of this cancellation will be sent to the client right away.

  • Alana MUHA reserves the right to legal action if any acts of extreme indecency were performed towards her including physical abuse, stealing from her kit and services and other indecencies of the like.

  • Neither party will be liable if in the event of extreme emergencies beyond reasonable control of either party including storms, fires, floods, pandemics, industrial actions, lock-out, strike, terrorism etc.



  • Alana MUHA is not liable for any allergies or skin irritations that may occur during the practical service if they aren’t stated prior to the service. Should a reaction occur Alana will do her best to help ease the situation, she will have anti histamines on hand and make an effort to calm any reactions that may occur. However it is not on Alana that a reaction occurred when she was not made aware prior.

  • Alana MUHA will endeavour to comply with all client requirements and to meet all expectations but if in the unlikely event that the client is unhappy with the final makeup application and/or hair styling, Alana cannot be held liable under this contract.



By agreeing to the terms and conditions you indemnify Alana MUHA from and against all actions, injuries, reactions, damages, liabilities, losses, claims, demands, judgements, suits, settlements, costs and expenses.
